Yesterday we popped along to the netball for an enjoyable afternoon watching the Southern Steel take on the Mainland Tactix at Stadium Southland.
It’s always interesting watching the South play off against Canterbury, no matter what sport you’re watching.
I haven’t seen a live netball game in many years, so when we got the opportunity (and both had time off to go), it was a no-brainer.
Trust me, there was no disappointment. It was fast-paced; full of some good plays coupled with good defense from both sides of the court. Of course it was made all the better by the final score. Southern Steel took it out 68-54.
It didn’t end there for us though. We went court-side to grab a few shots while they were all warming down. It was so nice to see the players joined by their kids during this time. Talk about cuteness overload!
