Weddings

What we do:

We offer a combination of documentary style and lightly posed wedding photography.  We have two wedding packages either a full or half day and can tailor packages to suit your requirements.  

Both packages include two photographers for the main event, with the 2nd photographer becoming an assistant for the remainder of the day.  You will also receive physical prints as part of the package because we believe it's important you get something tangible and lasting for your investment.

How we do it:

We like to capture your day as it happens and we love hearing from clients "I didn't even realise you were taking that photo" when they see their images.

During the formal portraits we take a more structured approach, while still keeping a relaxed atmosphere.  This allows everyone to have a bit of fun and allows us to capture the in between moments as well as getting the "smile" shots where people are aware of the camera.

Why we do it:

Your wedding day is an important day in your life.  You invest a lot of time, effort and money into making sure your day is special.  We will do the same to make sure your images are equally special.  

With both our packages we offer a free consultation.  This includes the initial meeting which is often an overview of the day, then attendance at the rehearsal to go through the finer details .   Our full package also comes with a complimentary engagement session which allows us to get to know you as a couple before the big day.

We are a boutique company and only offer a limited number of weddings per year.  This allows us to make sure you're getting the attention you deserve.

Although it can be tempting to cut costs by not hiring a professional photographer, it is highly recommended that you do so.  And we're not just saying that so you'll hire us.  One of the biggest regrets people often have about their wedding day is either choosing the wrong photographer or not hiring a professional.  Although 'Uncle Bob' might be handy with a camera and have all the right gear, often he wants to join in the festivities.  Layton's fixed many an image from brides who were disappointed with their wedding photos because they didn't hire a professional.
